For the first time, Ashburton now has a Ghost Walk, and it’s brought to you by local paranormal expert, David Phillips of Moors & More Tours and Dartmoor’s 900-year-old inn, the Old Exeter – the oldest freehouse in the world.
Starts at the inn and then on to the dark streets!
It starts here – at the haunted Old Exeter Inn.
The ghost of a young girl is often seen on the stairs, dressed in white, holding a book. Guests have reported glasses moving of their own accord and eerie apparitions throughout the inn. We call her the White Child. A kindly spirit, we think. But there are others less so.
From here, we explore the most haunted spots in this ancient town. Poltergeists. Apparitions. Tales that will make you think twice about the dark. Ashburton has secrets – and we know where they hide.
