Parties & Events at the Old Exeter Inn

The world’s oldest freehouse has been hosting celebrations for nearly 900 years. We offer intimate, candlelit spaces for occasions of all kinds – weddings, birthdays, christenings, wakes, retirement dos, corporate gatherings, or simply a proper get-together with old friends. From cosy nooks for eight to the whole pub for 120, we’ll work with you personally to create your perfect event.

Party Packages

Our party packages include Pie Club feasts, Pour-Your-Own-Pint parties in the Otter Tap Room, Cheese & Wine evenings, Beer & Cider Tastings, Bottomless PizzaFests in the garden, and bespoke buffets. Celebrate in the Parlour by the log fire, take over the walled Apothecary Garden with its cider bar and pizzeria, or hire the entire inn exclusively.

No room hire fees – just a minimum spend on food and drink.
