Real Italian pizza, made the Roman way.

Our sourdough is slow-fermented for 72 hours, hand-stretched long and oval, then twice-baked over the flame. It’s a method that takes time and patience — no shortcuts, no commercial yeasts, no quick fixes. The result is a base that’s light and crisp on the outside, open and tender within, with the deep gentle tang that only proper sourdough can give you.

We never overload our pizzas. Italian cooking, at its best, is about restraint — letting good ingredients speak for themselves. Every topping comes straight from Italy. Tomatoes, mozzarella, Gorgonzola, Parmigiano, Calabrian salami — simple, pure, and exactly as it should be.

To wash it down, step up to the Hawkstone Bar in the garden. Premium Lager and Cider, from Jeremy Clarkson’s farm — proper, honest stuff, and a cracking match for a slice straight from the oven.

Brewhouse Pizza is unique to the Old Exeter Inn and you’ll find us in the Walled Garden behind the pub — a quiet corner of Ashburton, and the best pizza for miles!

Enjoy your pizza in the garden or take it home with you.

Italiano Genuino. As they say in Italy — the real thing.
